- Minimum requirment is an Associate's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Earky Childhoos Education is preferred
- A degree in a related fielld with 18 credit hours in Early Chhildhood Education specific to infants and toddlers will also be considered.
- Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. as needed
- Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, stand on feet and sit on floor with children for extended periods of time without complications
- Must have at least two (2) years experience working in the classroom with preschool children
- Under the direction of the School Administrator, the Teacher will instruct children in activities designed to promote social, physical and cognitive growth
- Utilize a researched based curriculum and assessment to evaluate the progress of children and plan appropriate activities
- Develop individualized lesson plans, complete home visits, parent teacher conferences and monthly progress notes
- Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. as needed
