Position Summary:
As an HVAC Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. You’ll serve as a trusted expert in the field—providing not only technical service but also professional communication and peace of mind to our customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues (furnaces, A/C units, heat pumps, ductless systems, etc.)
- Perform maintenance and repair services on a variety of equipment
- Provide recommendations and explain options to customers in a clear, professional manner
- Keep accurate service records using mobile dispatch software
- Ensure all work complies with current codes and safety standards
- Communicate with office staff for job scheduling and updates
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work van and job sites
- Support and train junior technicians when needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of HVAC service experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
- EPA certification required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
