Data Entry/Accounting Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data within our systems, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Start date will be June 2, 2025

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry tasks with precision and accuracy.
• File documents and maintain organized records in both physical and digital formats.
• Utilize office software to type, computerize, and transcribe data effectively.
• Conduct clerical duties related to data collection and management.
• Ensure data integrity by verifying information before entry into systems.
• Assist in maintaining databases by updating records as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline data processes and improve efficiency.
• Utilize basic math skills for data verification and calculations when required.

Experience

• Previous experience in a data entry or clerical role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with order entry systems and office software (Microsoft Dynamics GP) is a plus.
• Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
