We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host / Server Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings with efficiency and professionalism
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages, clearing tables, and ensuring guest comfort
- Maintain cleanliness of host station, waiting areas, and dining spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Manage phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, taking reservations or providing information as needed
- Support guest relations by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
Skills
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including reservation management and POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus for understanding guest expectations
- Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills to foster positive interactions
