We serve South Windsor, CT and its surrounding towns.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a part time reliable and responsible individual to join our team as an experienced Dog Handler with strong organizational skills. As a Dog Handler you will be responsible for providing exercise, transportation, dog walks and companionship to dogs in our care.
Must have clean neat reliable transportation to use during working hours to travel 2-3 to from local homes for Dog Walking service
This is a great opportunity for animal lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors and working with dogs and looking to grow with a rapidly expanding Dog Service company.
Duties:
- Walk dogs on designated routes and ensure their safety at all times
- Provide exercise and playtime for dogs to promote their physical and mental well-being
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding feeding, medication, and any special care requirements
- Monitor the behavior and health of dogs during walks and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Clean up after dogs during walks and properly dispose of waste
Skills:
- 2 years Experience in pet care, dog walking, pet sitting , or dog training and or veterinary technician
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with dog owners in a professional and friendly manner
