What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teachers position at HAPPY DAYS CHILDCARE?
Happy Days Childcare & Learning Center in Merrillville, IN is looking for experience Infant/Toddler or Infant/Toddler Assistant Teachers to join our strong team. We are located on 6111 Harrison Street Suite 145. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working. Bilingual experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- The lead teacher is responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of teaching team, and functions as a team leader, co-leader. The teacher plans and implements the curriculum, and with active participation of other members of the teaching team, works with parents and assist the needs of individual children.
Qualifications
- Must have thorough knowledge of and be able to implement a developmental curriculum. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma, have worked in a childcare facility previously and be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children. In addition, he/she must meet the requirements of the city and state licensing agencies.
