: Job Duties: Analyze the project requirements. Participate in initial brainstorming discussions with people with different roles and functions. Work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA Teams to review the requirements. Discuss the design and work with stakeholders to describe functional, non-functional, and transitional functionalities. Describe the actions, processes, or other conditions the project must satisfy. Describe any condition or criterion that validates the successful completion of a project result or the fulfillment of other project requirements. Prepare approach notes and project plans. Research and pre-plan with the team and list the dependencies. Document the solution and approach for each module. Define roles, responsibilities, and resources. Demonstrate and explain the project to key stakeholders. Create high-level architecture for the features of the existing projects and new project initiatives. Present the architecture documentation to the internal security and architecture council for review for implementation approval. Represent the team in architecture meetings and provide the development team with architectural blueprints to follow. Work with other Architects to design performant and scalable solutions. Guide and assist the development team throughout the process and ensure the team implements the solution in accordance with the architecture design. Oversee the development team’s progress to ensure consistency with the initial design and provide technical guidance and coaching to developers. Review the code to ensure the design's quality by avoiding complexity and advocating for clarity with the team. Provide domain knowledge around DevOps and enterprise technology to developers to speed up the development and deployment process. Create required design documents. Work with the team to create project design and technical specification documents that describe the overall architecture. Define assumptions and dependencies, general constraints, goals and guidelines, development methods, and architectural strategies. Provide technical guidance to developers and the development team to help ensure the solution is consistent with the initial architecture design. Write code for the assigned modules. Help the team with their day-to-day development activities. Maintain transparency in the process, update the client on development progress and issues faced by the team, and manage client expectations with the development team. Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations. Review production incidents and conduct root cause analysis. Provide permanent solutions to the production and other code and technical issues.
Requirements: Master's or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a software designer, developer, Sr. developer, tester, or related. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's or equivalent in the above-stated fields plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the above-stated occupations. Position is based out of 101 Metro Drive, Suite 360, San Jose, CA 95110, and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Rate of Pay: $264,514.00/year.
