Part-Time English & Music Teacher (Toddlers & Preschool)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and nurturing Part-Time English & Music Teacher to inspire young learners through engaging English language and music experiences. If you enjoy singing, storytelling, movement, and helping children develop a love for learning, we'd love to hear from you!
Position Summary
The English & Music Teacher will lead interactive English and music sessions for children ages 15 months to 5 years old across four classrooms. Lessons should be developmentally appropriate, hands-on, and designed to encourage language development, creativity, confidence, and a love of music.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging English and music lessons for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Lead classes ranging from 30 to 60 minutes per session.
- Incorporate songs, movement, instruments, storytelling, games, and age-appropriate activities.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the developmental needs of different age groups.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure smooth transitions and classroom support.
- Maintain a safe and organized teaching environment.
- Communicate professionally with school staff and administration.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children ages 15 months to 5 years in a preschool, daycare, or early childhood setting.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Passion for music, singing, and early childhood education.
- Ability to confidently lead groups of young children.
- Reliable, patient, energetic, and creative.
- Early Childhood Education coursework or teaching experience is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete required background clearances.
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Flexible weekday schedule.
- Each teaching session is 30–60 minutes.
- Classes are conducted in 4 different classrooms serving children from 15 months to 5 years old.
