Front of House Team Member (Cashier & Food Service)

Pay: $16–$18/hour tips

Hapa's Sushi & Poke is looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking team member to join our front-of-house team. We are a locally owned restaurant located in the Polynesian Cultural Center Marketplace serving fresh poke bowls, sushi, and hot food to guests from around the world.

This position is much more than just running a register. You'll be helping guests, preparing simple food items, packaging orders, and helping create a great experience for every customer who visits Hapa's.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take food orders
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle payments
• Answer menu questions and make recommendations
• Prepare poke bowls and simple food items according to training
• Package and organize takeout orders
• Restock supplies and keep work areas clean
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
