Cool Cat Cafe, located on Front Street since 2003-has reopened a fresh new casual counter service concept at Whalers Village! Cool Cat Express is serving up all the classic favorites and still the best burger on Maui, we are staffing up before the busy summer season. Must be able to to work well within a team environment. We are looking 3-5 shifts a week, mix of AM/PM and must have some flexibility for weekend shifts. Reliability over experience, we are willing to train
FOH Team Member: Hourly plus tips $17 base, up to $40/hr including tips
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take customer orders accurately using Toast POS System
- Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation standards, ensuring high-quality presentation.
- Assist with food handling, including serving, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Manage cash handling processes efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients to answer customer inquiries effectively.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices in all kitchen and service areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash register operations and sales tracking.
