Duties
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, balancing, and alignment checks to optimize vehicle safety and handling
- Conduct oil changes and automotive fluid replacements efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs such as brake inspections, belt replacements, and battery services
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks accurately and safely
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic equipment and communicate findings clearly
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and organized environment
Experience
- Dealership experience or prior service technician background preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Mechanical experience with standard passenger cars, including basic repairs and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement procedures such as oil, coolant, transmission fluid, and brake fluid changes
- Hands-on experience with tire service including mounting, balancing, and alignment processes
- Ability to lift heavy tires or vehicle components safely during maintenance tasks
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively about vehicle needs and services
