Responsibilities
- Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes using appropriate hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper disposal of used fluids
- Assist with vehicle alignments to improve handling and tire longevity
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including fluid checks, filter replacements, and brake inspections
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance needs when appropriate
Experience
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Hands-on experience with tire service, oil changes, alignments, and general automotive service techniques
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely during service procedures
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience using hand tools and power tools in an automotive setting
- Service technician experience that demonstrates attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients while promoting additional services when appropriate
