About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Factory Solution Business Development to lead and scale our U.S. business across semiconductor manufacturing and large-scale industrial facilities.
This role owns the full commercial lifecycle - from technical and commercial business development to strategic account management, proposal leadership, contract negotiation, and pipeline forecasting. The position requires deep semiconductor industry expertise, a strong network with global owners and EPC/GC partners, and the ability to operate effectively in the U.S. business and project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Market Expansion
- Lead U.S. business development strategy for semiconductor fabs and advanced industrial facilities
- Drive revenue growth across fabs, FMCS, factory automation, data centers, biopharma, shipbuilding, and large-scale plants
- Own senior-level relationships with global semiconductor owners (Samsung, SK hynix, Micron, Intel, etc.) and EPC/GC firms (Fluor, Bechtel, Turner, Samsung E&A, etc.)
- Manage strategic accounts, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasting
- Estimating, Proposal & Technical Sales Leadership
- Lead RFQ/RFP strategy, pricing, and commercial terms
- Collaborate with engineering and operations on technical scope, utilities, and SCADA/FMCS integration
- Balance technical solutions with commercial competitiveness and profitability
- Leadership, Governance & Reporting
- Build and lead the U.S. Factory Solution Business Development organization
- Establish KPI, pipeline, and revenue reporting frameworks
- Deliver executive-level updates to HQ and implement commercial governance processes
- Stakeholder Engagement & Market Presence
- Represent the company with U.S. clients and global affiliates
- Develop partnerships with EPCs, GCs, and automation integrators
- Participate in key industry events (SEMICON, ENR, BIO, Data Center conferences)
- Strategic Planning & Growth Execution
- Develop U.S. market entry and sector penetration strategies
- Support corporate strategic initiatives through data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10 years in the semiconductor industry (fab utilities, FMCS, automation, SCADA, UPW, etc.)
- 15 years of progressive experience in industrial business development, EPC, or solution sales
- Proven success managing high-value B2B contracts in semiconductor or large industrial projects
- Strong network with global semiconductor owners and EPC/GC partners
- Solid understanding of project cost structures, estimating, and contractual risk
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and executive communication skills
- Experience working in U.S. project, construction, and contracting environments
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to ~25%)
