Tax Manager/Supervisor Position

Hanson & Co. CPAs currently has an opening for a Tax Manager or Tax Supervisor in its Denver office, located just outside of the desirable Cherry Creek area. The qualified candidate must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or a related field. The qualified candidate must also have a current CPA license, 4-6 years of public accounting experience and demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills.

As a tax manager or supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects within the public accounting industry. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting in training and scheduling staff on various projects.

Primary job responsibilities related to tax work will include the preparation and review of individual and entity tax returns, performing tax research, and responding to Federal and state government notices. A strong eagerness to learn is expected, as you work closely with other staff, management and shareholders.

Supervising and managing the staff in our accounting services department will also be necessary during the year.
