Hansen Talent Group is seeking a cybersecurity professional with in-depth experience working with risk management as well as hands-on experience supporting AI driven data security efforts.
The Cybersecurity professional will be responsible for supporting the agency''s cybersecurity and data protection operations, focusing on Copilot/AI data security and 3rd party risks. The analyst will review and triage security alerts, investigate access and movement of sensitive information, perform system and vendor audits, document findings, assist with incident escalation, and work with technical and business teams to strengthen the overall security and data governance posture.
Duties:
The Cybersecurity professional will be responsible for supporting the agency''s cybersecurity and data protection operations, focusing on Copilot/AI data security and 3rd party risks. The analyst will review and triage security alerts, investigate access and movement of sensitive information, perform system and vendor audits, document findings, assist with incident escalation, and work with technical and business teams to strengthen the overall security and data governance posture.
Duties:
- Data Protection & Data Governance: Monitor and administer Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and controls. Investigate potential data loss, data exposure, and unauthorized access incidents. Assist in implementation of data classification and data handling requirements, especially for Copilot and AI data
- Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Investigate suspicious activity involving sensitive information. Review and triage security alerts. Document findings and maintain investigation records. Escalate incidents according to agency incident response procedures.
- Insider Risk Management: Conduct investigations from end-user alerts while maintaining confidentiality and proper chain of evidence.Analyze user activity associated with potential policy violations.
- Vendor Security Management: Participate in third-party and vendor security assessments.
- Security Auditing & Compliance Assist with risk assessments and control validation activities.Collect and analyze evidence for regulatory and policy requirements. Support cybersecurity audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications:
