Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environment and possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints. This role involves fabricating and assembling various metal components, ensuring adherence to industry standards. A typical work week is 4 ten hour days with overtime on fridays. Duties
- Fabricate and assemble metal weldments to project specifications.
- Operate welding equipment, to join metal parts securely.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery safely to cut, shape, and weld materials.
- Perform inspections of completed work to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with team members on site.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documentation.
- Ability to operate hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of industry standards related to welding and fabrication.
