You must be currently authorized to work in the US to be considered for this position.   QUALIFICATIONS:   MUST HAVE CURRENT DAIRY EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION   - Experience with fresh cows, hospital management, and hoof trimming - Proficient in DairyComp 305 or similar herd management software - Fluent, or the ability to speak Conversational Spanish     JOB DESCRIPTION:   Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy located in Florida who is seeking a dedicated Herd Health Manager to oversee all aspects of fresh cow care and hospital operations. This role is responsible for managing herd health protocols, supervising employees, and ensuring the highest level of animal care and performance. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all fresh cow and hospital operations - Manage and supervise a team of 10 employees, including fresh cow, hospital, and hoof trimming staff - Monitor and maintain herd health, identifying and addressing health issues promptly - Coordinate and oversee hoof trimming schedules and protocols - Ensure accurate record keeping and data entry using DairyComp 305 - Train and support employees to follow proper animal care procedures and protocols - Communicate effectively with team members and management   ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
