Dairy Farm Assistant / Herdsman (Farm Management Role) Location: Marshfield WI Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Weekday weekend rotation (every other weekend off) ⸻ Job Overview We are a family-owned dairy farm seeking a dependable and experienced individual to help manage daily farm operations and care for our herd. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes initiative, works hard, and helps keep the farm running smoothly. ⸻ Key Responsibilities * Daily care of dairy cattle, and monitoring herd health * Assisting with and helping oversee milking operations * Sorting and moving cattle safely and efficiently * Assisting with calving and overall herd management * Helping manage daily farm operations and prioritize tasks * Operating equipment including a skid steer and small tractor * Performing routine maintenance and general farm work * Maintaining clean and organized barns and work areas ⸻ Qualifications * Prior experience on a dairy farm or working with cattle required * Milking and herd management experience preferred * Strong work ethic and reliability * Ability to work independently and take initiative * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Ability to lift 50 lbs * Valid driver’s license preferred * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required ⸻ Schedule & Pay * Full-time hours * Every other weekend off * Pay based on experience * Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility ⸻ How to Apply Apply with your work experience and a short message about your background in dairy or farm work and why you would like to join our team!
