We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer II to support integrated system testing of launch vehicles, with a focus on electrical subsystems critical to human spaceflight missions.
In this role, you’ll work across multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and test readiness from ground testing through flight campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and execute integrated system tests for launch vehicle electrical subsystems
- Design and support data acquisition (DAQ) systems for accurate measurement and test analysis
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for test automation, data collection, and post-processing
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers on test plans and procedures
- Troubleshoot electrical and DAQ issues during test execution
- Analyze test data, document results, and provide design improvement recommendations
- Support ground and flight test campaigns while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
- Maintain clear documentation for test setups, procedures, and results for review and audit purposes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of experience in electrical test engineering (aerospace or similar industry preferred)
- Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems (DAQ), instrumentation, and control systems
- Proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and scripting
- Strong understanding of system-level testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work onsite in Kent, WA
