Private Market Associate
Location: New York or Palm Beach
A top-producing private markets team at a major global wealth management firm is hiring an Associate to help grow their private equity placement business. The team operates on an open-architecture model, independently sourcing and vetting high-conviction PE deals across strategies, then raising capital from family offices and ultra-high-net-worth investors. They are not tied to any single fund manager.
This is an outbound business development role. You'll be prospecting family offices, UHNW investors, and select institutions across the U.S. and globally through targeted cold calling, email campaigns, and relationship building. The team provides research tools, lead sourcing, and a clear methodology for identifying and prioritizing targets

What you'll do:
- Prospect and engage family offices and UHNW investors through targeted outreach
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective investors
- Research target markets and develop focused outreach strategies by geography and investor type
- Support the senior team in preparing and delivering presentations
- Develop working knowledge of the team's active deal flow and investment strategies
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in financial services or a related field
- FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (or ability to obtain within six months)
- Comfortable making calls and energized by outbound prospecting
- Genuine interest in private equity and the private markets
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
