RESPONSIBILITIES
Including, but not limited to:
Manages accounts receivable collections for past due customer accounts, ensures timely filing of Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance claims.
Provides written Past Due Report concerning customer accounts to the Administrator, prepares for and attends A/R review meetings, maintains collection Activity Binder.
Maintains Private Spend Worksheets and assists with Medicaid Pending Tracking.
Manages resident funds and maintains confidential files, ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive resident care in our facilities.
All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent;
Experience in Long Term Care billing and collections;
Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance vendors;
Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance;
Good verbal and written communication skills;
Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident and company
proprietary information;
Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with
patients, families, and other employees at all levels;
Must possess computer skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
