What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tutor(s) Within New England Center for Children Programs position at Hanover Public Schools?
Demonstrate a strong desire to work with students with Special Needs
Implement individualized ABA programs and behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA
Provide direct 1:1 or small-group instruction to support students in the development of communication, social, academic, and self-care skills
Utilize reinforcement strategies and data-driven techniques to encourage positive behavior.
Collect, record, and summarize data on student progress and behavior throughout sessions
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to review data and adjust programming
Support students during transitions, mealtimes, and classroom activities as needed
Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support carryover of skills across settings
Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment at all times
Adhere to all district and special education policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and/or 504 Plan
Tutors within the New England Center for Children (NECC) programs are required to work the Extended School Year Program in addition to the school year
Salary : $22 - $26
