Hanover Hill Health Care Center is now hiring a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. This department is essential in creating and maintaining a comfortable, safe and clean environment throughout our upscale, 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Shift time 7:30am-4pm; schedule includes Mon-Fri / Rotating weekend / 40 hours per week
Job Requirements:
- Maintain a customer service attitude with staff, residents, family members, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner
- Can make independent decisions, follow instructions, accept feedback and constructive criticism
- Must be flexible in receiving work duties during work hours
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day housekeeping duties and functions as needed.
- Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
- Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and sanitary, safe, comfortable and attractive manner.
- Follow established infection control and universal precautions at all times
- Coordinate isolation procedures with nursing services
- Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established environmental services procedures
