Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of room spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and outdoor areas as needed.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or large items with proper technique to ensure safety.
• Maintain organization of cleaning supplies and equipment for optimal efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols related to sanitation, equipment use, and outdoor work environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Strong understanding of cleaning detergents, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
• Customer service orientation with clear communication skills for client interactions.
• Experience with outdoor work environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, dusting techniques, and floor cleaning methods including floor care maintenance.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, and polishing tools.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
