Site IT Manager

Job Description

This position is for an engineer responsible leading delimited area or Site location services and operations of IT systems and solutions. This includes systems supporting Office automation, Commercial Applications, Enterprise Resource Planning, Line of Business and Product Development. The operations aspects of this position entail delivery of services and stable operations on the site and excellent service to business users.

Primary Responsibilities

• Is responsible for ensuring IT Infrastructure environments within the delimited area or Site locations are operationally stable, cost effective and optimized Coordinate repair and troubleshooting with multiple vendors.
• Is responsible for Service Level Management for all IT Infrastructure service level agreements. These include EUC, server, storage & back-up, data/voice networks for all sites within the delimited area or Site location
• Has primary responsibility of interfacing with business leaders and executing IT Operations strategy aligned with business objectives for the delimited area or Site location
• Lead a team of engineers to manage site IT operations, production change control process and the implementation of IT service delivery improvement initiatives within the delimited area or Site location
• Face off to Hanon business customers ensuring excellent customer service
• Manage change control and incident/problem management associated with local IT operations based on ITIL service oriented framework.
• Provide leadership in the areas of IT architecture, design, support and service delivery for the region.
• Provides data recovery services and business continuity planning in cooperation with key users and local operations staff.
• Support SOX compliance, IT Security compliance to ensure data protection with proper access controls
• Lead IT system launch teams supporting growth opportunities in area or Site location
• Responsible for Asset management and consumption tracking, keeping CMDB in line with actual.
• Work with internal resources and outsourcing partners to deliver day-to-day IT Operations, ensuring systems/solutions are meeting / exceeding availability and performance service levels, decreasing business impacting incidents and ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved locally within the site.
• Ensure an environmental health and safe work environment conditions by complying with all Hanon Systems Integrated Management System procedures, standards, and regulations

Work Process Accountabilities

• Take leadership of all incidents and initiatives affecting site’s IT environment
• Do what it takes to get business working including hands on intervention as required.
• Identify root causes of incidents to assure no repeat incidents and lowering both lost units and lost work hours for those incidents that do occur.
• Participate in on call duty as required by local sites.
• Support local and corporate project implementations when they occur.
• Oversight change management process
• Ensure conformance and adherence to working procedures and audit standards with all Hanon Systems Integrated Management System procedures, standards, and regulations

Years of Experience

• 7 years’ experience in Information Technology with specific knowledge in IT Daily Operations and Systems Management

Education

• High school diploma or GED

• Very good written and spoken English
• Knowledge of project management principles and ITIL V4.0 framework driving a service management oriented approach to IT
• Personnel and administrative management skills
• Distinctive IT-related knowledge and understanding as well as analytical way of thinking
• Experience dealing with customers, suppliers, business partners and support groups
• Highly team-oriented and confident appearance
• Able to cope with pressure, good manners and a solution as well as customer oriented work style.
• Proven team builder. Must be adept in retaining and coaching IT members and help build a bench of IT talent for the region.
