The Tax Staff performs a wide variety of work assigned under the direction of supervisors, managers, and partners. They are able to adhere to time budgets on jobs assigned and display professional conduct.
Primary Responsibilities
- Learns and assists tax professionals under direction of Seniors, Supervisors, Manager, Senior Managers, and Partners.
- Becomes familiar with the firm's policies and procedures including tax return preparation and procedures, including documentation and processing.
- Keeps current on technical issues and learns to apply them to client circumstances.
- Becomes proficient in the use of the various software programs used by the firm. Also becomes familiar with research tools used by the firm.
- Learns to prepare and process client tax returns.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college or university
- Zero (0) to Two (2) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active CPA License is a plus, candidates pursuing certification are encouraged to apply
