Position Purpose
The Time Critical Diagnosis (TCD) Coordinator leads and develops the care process, using a multidisciplinary approach to provide the highest quality care and service to any TCD patients. This position will coordinate care across the continuum, including EMS and regional facilities. In addition, the coordinator will conduct community education seminars in targeted outreach areas to increase and promote awareness. The TCD Coordinator will work closely with all members of the care team including the Medical Directors for Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, and Sepsis as well as other physicians. Also is to lead the state level designation process for TCD and entry of data to the State registry database.

Specifications (Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Licensure, Certification, Registration)
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing; BSN required
- Current licensure in State of MO as a Registered Nurse or licensure eligibility required
- Have immediate experience in the ED or critical care area
- Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC
- Current ENPC or PALS
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to teach TCD care processes
- Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess the ability to impact change and drive quality outcomes using data and a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and relationship-building with many stakeholder groups is required
