What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Phlebotomist position at Hannibal Regional?
To perform phlebotomy procedures in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Student interested in lab or medical field
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Previous phlebotomy experience preferred
- Knowledge of proper English, spelling and grammar
- Ability to greet and serve patients in a manner conducive to positive customer relations
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively; oral and written
- Requires basic computer skills and the ability to learn various software programs
- BLS certification required
