What are the responsibilities and job description for the FACE Parent Educator position at Hannahville Indian Community?
The FACE (Family and Child Education) Parent Educators serve as part of the FACE team. Although staff members have different roles within the program, they must function as a team and collaborate on duties by providing personal visits (usually in the home) with primary care providers of children prenatal to 5 years of age on a weekly to monthly basis to provide research-based information on how children grow and develop and how parents can foster learning and nurture development; by providing screenings, FACE family circles and resource networking; and by assisting in the Early Childhood classroom when needed as scheduling permits. Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Human Services or related field; possess and maintain a current valid MI. driver's license.
