Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of deli products including sandwiches, salads, and cold cuts with precision and care
• Engage with customers by taking orders
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food handling, sanitation, and workspace organization
• Manage food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, ovens, refrigerators, and other food preparation tools
• Possibility of baking if interested

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service is highly preferred; quick service or fast food restaurant experience is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow sanitation standards diligently
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Retail or grocery store experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for food industry work is essential
