Due to continued growth, Hanley CPA, PLLC is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant in Charlevoix, Michigan.
Senior Tax Accountants at Hanley CPA perform more advanced tax return preparation and technical research and work under the direction of supervisors and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare complex individual, trust, non-profit and business tax returns
• Perform technical research and document findings
• Assist with client tax planning computations and projections
• Analyze general ledger activity and book-to-tax differences
• Collaborate with supervisor/manager when assigned to support special projects or internal initiatives
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's in Accounting required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• 2–4 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting
• Proficient in federal and state tax compliance
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
