Inventory Control Auditor

Job Purpose:
The Inventory Control Auditor at HANKS FURNITURE INC is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory records. This role involves conducting thorough inventory audits, performing weekly cycle counts, and making necessary inventory adjustments to ensure optimal stock levels. The position requires travel to various store locations to perform in-store inventory assessments and audits, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company's inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Make inventory adjustments as necessary to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Travel to various store locations to perform in-store inventory audits and assessments.
- Conduct comprehensive inventory audits to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting related to inventory control.
- Collaborate with store management and staff to address inventory issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide detailed reports on inventory findings and recommend improvements to inventory management processes.
- Stay informed about industry best practices in inventory control and auditing.

Preferred Education:
- Some college education is preferred.

Preferred Experience:
- Previous audit experience is preferred.
