We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead the West Area Risk Management (WARM) $400M capital asset project. This position reports to the West Area Projects Manager and is responsible for the development, planning, management, and execution of DOE Order 413.3B Capital Asset Projects in the Hanford West Area. The role includes full-lifecycle oversight of design, construction, testing, and readiness activities supporting the River Protection Project (RPP) mission. As both a Project Manager (PM) and Control Account Manager (CAM), this position plays a key integration role across the DFLAW and HLW programs.
The specific duties of the Project Manager will include but are not limited to the following activities:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with DOE personnel, including the Federal Project Director (FPD).
- Lead the development and negotiation of Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), Baseline Change Requests (BCRs), and Performance-Based Incentives (PBIs).
- Communicate project requirements to H2C organizations and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure effective project delivery.
- Manage and deliver scope within approved cost and schedule baselines.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, Estimates at Completion, and variance analysis with clear and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and present monthly project reports for internal and external customers.
- Review and approve contractor invoices and ensure compliance with contract and baseline requirements.
- Monitor project scope and execute change-control processes in alignment with DOE O 413.3B expectations.
- Support commissioning, startup, turnover, and transition-to-operations activities for assigned systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Grade 21:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline and 12 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Grade 22:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline and 15 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.
Grade 23:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 17-20 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.
Desired Qualifications
*Current H2C PM and CAM qualifications.
- Proven ability to meet aggressive schedules and complete PBIs.
- Experience preparing and processing BCRs and CCPs.
- Strong ability to coordinate work with DOE-ORP, DOE-HQ, regulators, and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of H2C administrative processes for design, work planning, construction, testing, and readiness.
- Demonstrated success managing full-lifecycle upgrades to Tank Farm systems and infrastructure, including design, procurement/fabrication, construction, testing, turnover, and readiness.
- Knowledge of Tank Farm Waste Transfer Systems.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
Hiring Range Minimum: $145,150
Hiring Range Maximum: $246,613

Salary : $145,150 - $246,613
