H2C seeks an Operations Supervisor. The Operations Supervisor will join DFLAW/ETF Operations which manages AP farm and the Tank-Side Cesium Removal system. The Operations Supervisor will report to the DFLAW Shift Manager and perform duties as a Field Work Supervisor (FWS) focusing on Conduct of Operations while maintaining a safe workplace that is compliant with facility and regulatory standards. This will be a Dayshift assignment.
Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Perform Field Work Supervisor (FWS) duties
- Maintain FWS qualification
- Perform work package review
- Conduct pre-job briefings to ensure personnel involved in the work activity are familiar with the precautions, limitations, work scope, hazard controls, and applicable procedures
- Implement Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) principles
- Coordinate the planning and preparation of daily field activities
- Assist in the training of Nuclear Chemical Operators (NCOs)
- Provide planners and Work Week Manager resource needs for field activities
- Communicate plant status and issues to DFLAW management team
- Provide status at "Plan of the Day" and "Plan of the Week" meetings and help update progress and completion, as well as to resolve resource and schedule issues
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Provide planners and Work Week Manager resource needs for field activities
- Manage assigned Condition Report actions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Grade 18:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; and
- Five (5) years of related experience required.
Grade 19:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; and
- Seven (7) years of related experience required.
Grade 20:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; and
- Nine (9) years of related experience required.
Higher-level consideration may require supervisory experience commensurate with the expanded responsibilities and oversight expected at advanced levels.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience with Nuclear Operations either on a Department of Energy site or commercial site.
- Previous experience with DOE, DNFSB staff and regulators desirable.
- Previous experience with the 200 area Tank Farms desirable.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
Hiring Range Minimum: $109,013
Hiring Range Maximum: $166,263
