**Job Duties/Scope Of Work**

The Hanford Radiological Records Program manages all dosimetry records for the Hanford Site from the 1940s to the present. Work will involve building historic records packages requested through various government and employer programs, in addition to converting physical records into digital form. Other opportunities may include assistance with other dosimetry or radiological instrumentation projects.

**Basic Qualifications**

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• Must have one college term completed at an accredited college or university, must be enrolled as a full-time student, and live within a commutable distance from the Richland work location.
• Must have and maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 or above.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during breaks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.
  
  

**Desired Qualifications**

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling records and data entry.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy and security protocols regarding sensitive information.
• Experience or coursework in radiological protection, dosimetry, or related sciences is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer proficiency.
• Interest in historical research and records preservation.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Freshman: $18.26

Sophomore: $18.26

Junior: $24.78

Senior: $29.24

In accordance with the HMIS wage determination process, offers will be made by taking into consideration the degree program the candidate is currently enrolled in - or - scope of work the position will perform, grade level in school (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior) as well as the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. The starting rates, and ranges listed (if applicable) represents the full wage scale that may be offered for this position.
