Job Duties/Scope Of Work
The Work Control Preventative Maintenance (PM) Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating both, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for Fire Systems Maintenance to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of our equipment and facilities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Retention of periodic maintenance change documentation and reviews of the CMMS recall database to ensure status and updates.
  • Ensuring work orders and supporting documents are sent to the maintenance organization allowing time to perform the periodic maintenance prior to the due date.
  • Recording performance data, due dates, and comments.
  • Interfacing with Engineering/Subject Matter Experts/Maintenance Services to coordinate the planning and implementation of new or revised Assets/Equipment and Periodic Maintenance.
  • Interfacing with customers to ensure maintenance needs are met and obtain correct charge codes.
  • Utilizing CMMS to input PM work orders and track status and/or completion.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
  • Performing various checks of PM Datasheets for workability, updates, and correctness of activities.
  • Independently working with managers in coordinating PM maintenance activities in various areas of Hanford.
  • Participating in the implementation of new maintenance PM Procedures
  • Maintaining records of completed PM maintenance.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the team and organizational objectives.

Basic Qualifications
ENTRY LEVEL:
  • BA/BS and a minimum of 1-4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of CMMS, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Job Control System (JCS).
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL:
  • BA/BS and 5-7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of CMMS, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Job Control System (JCS).
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to assist others.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.

SENIOR LEVEL:
  • BA/BS and 8 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of CMMS, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Job Control System (JCS).
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with the capability to assist others.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.

Desired Qualifications
*Skilled in examining PM procedures and implementation.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance coordination or similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Work Management.
  • Experience in Hanford or other government contracting environments.
  • Experience with Integrated Document Management System (IDMS) or other similar document management systems.

Compensation & Benefits
The grade level for this position will be predicated on the successful candidate's level of experience and ability to perform the essential duties of this position, based on the criteria above. Corresponding salary ranges for each respective grade level are as follows:

ENTRY LEVEL:
Grade 14: $81,068 - $94,013
Grade 15: $82,000 - $103,400

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL:
Grade 16: $90,150 - $113,550
Grade 17: $99,063 - $124,788

SENIOR LEVEL:
Grade 18: $109,013 - $137,538

In accordance with the HMIS salary determination process, offers will be made by taking into consideration the level of assigned job duties, responsibilities, and the candidate's qualifications relative to internal peers and the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. The salary range listed represents the full range of salary that may be offered.

This position may be required to complete a probationary period. Benefits for eligible employees will begin on day one.

In compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) and Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Field Office (HFO) direction, employees issued initial badges on or after September 1st, 2025, are required to obtain and maintain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential. To obtain this credential, new employees must successfully complete and pass a federal background check investigation. This investigation encompasses multiple areas of eligibility and includes a declaration of illegal drug activities, including use, supply, possession, or manufacture within the last year. This includes marijuana and cannabis derivatives, which are still considered illegal under federal law, regardless of state laws.
