Job Duties For This Position Include
- Provide multi discipline design/drafting support as directed by the Central Engineering Support Manager.
- Support preparation of Facility Modification Packages (FMPs) working closely with engineers.
- Update engineering drawings, incorporating changes from FMPs and various project documentation.
- Assist designers in maintaining configuration control of engineering drawings designated as "essential" and "support" level drawings.
- Support other requests such as preparing tables, charts, figures, and sketches for documents.
- Other job duties as assigned by the Central Engineering Support Manager.
- AA/AAS degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using AutoCAD drafting software, with recent experience using current versions of the software (2022 version or newer).
- Experience performing drafting and design work, preferably in an engineering work environment.
- Experience as a drafter/designer in electrical, telecommunications, and/or mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Autodesk Certified User or Certified Professional credentials.
- Prior experience with Hanford Site and/or other drawing standards and configuration management processes.
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take direction and execute tasks successfully.
