Job Summary
ASSIGNMENT: School Year 2026-2027, Monroe Elementary School – 5.0 hours per day; Monday through Friday, 199 work days. (11 months per year). Regularly assigned shift is: 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (30 min. lunch) Performs a wide variety of typing and general clerical duties for school office. Provides verbal and written communications to both English and Spanish speaking students and parents to explain programs and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: 12th grade education or equivalent; two years of typing and general clerical experience, preferably to include word processing, database, and/or spreadsheet programs; ability to type at a rate of 35 words per minute (Bilingual) Clerk Typist I, or 45 words per minute (Bilingual) Clerk Typist II. If selected for an interview, a Spanish test will be scheduled.

- Typing Certificate (Typing Test for BCTI of 35wpm; BCTII 45wpm *Online tests not accepted)
