What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Truck Driver - Class A position at Hanes Companies?
Hanes Geo Components, a division of Leggett & Platt, is seeking a local delivery truck driver for our location in Ashburn, GA. This position is day shift, home nightly!
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have Class A CDL License.
• Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Must be able to follow verbal & written work instructions.
• Able to operate lift trucks.
• Minimum 2 Years VerifiableTruck driving experience.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• QUALCOMM Experience a Plus
PRIMARY DUTIES:
The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:
• Must conduct himself/herself as an agent of the company and deal with the customers with proper care and attention.
• Make deliveries as scheduled
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Conform to all quality/safety requirements and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
The ideal candidate would be team-oriented, customer-service driven, and comfortable working with computers and barcoded inventory.
