Duties
- Interpret and follow construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute repairs and installations.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
- Utilize power tools and manual handling techniques safely to carry out heavy lifting, equipment repair, and installation tasks.
- Conduct erosion control measures and implement safety regulations in accordance with OSHA safety standards to ensure workplace safety.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards; respond promptly to repair requests.
- Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including respiratory protection and climbing safety protocols.
- Assist with industrial construction projects by interpreting technical drawings and executing tasks aligned with project specifications.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial construction or maintenance roles with a strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, power tools, heavy lifting, climbing, and manual handling techniques.
- Knowledge of erosion control practices and implementation of OSHA safety standards within construction environments.
- Familiarity with respiratory protection equipment and other personal protective gear used in industrial settings.
- Prior experience working in environments requiring strict adherence to safety regulations and industrial construction standards is highly preferred.
