The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the logistics involved in coordinating material deliveries to managing inventory and dispatch schedules. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our production, procurement, and project management teams to ensure materials and equipment arrive on-site on time, supporting efficient job completion and client satisfaction. Must be able to exercise discretion and use independent judgement in booking appropriate carrier, negotiating carrier rates, and resolving “problem: loads. Must manage transportation arrangements from pre-pickup through delivery. Must be able to communicate with shippers, carriers, and your team members. Ability to build and maintain carrier relationships
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries of materials, product, equipment, and tools.
- Monitor inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring materials arrive on time and are accounted for accurately.
- Maintain inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and manage reorders to avoid shortages.
- Collaborate with project managers and suppliers to optimize logistics and meet project timelines.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure orders are being made in a manner where they will ship and deliver on time.
- Prepare and manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot delivery and scheduling issues, implementing solutions to minimize delays and disruptions.
- Support efforts to improve logistics workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively over-the-phone, through e-mail and face to face
- Capacity to recognize when action is necessary and to implement the required actions within a reasonable time.
- Aptitude to prioritize workflow in order to use time effectively
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations in order to calculate transit times.
- Competency to use discretion and good judgment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
