Child Care Teacher

Job Description:

· Build a warm and welcoming culture by engaging staff, teachers, and kids with professionalism, positivity and enthusiasm.

· Familiarize self with the minimum childcare standards and ensure classrooms are meeting expectations

· Participate in school functions (i.e., Open House, Fall Carnival, and Holiday Programs).

· Maintain records for each child

· Maintain a clean and safe environment with age-appropriate activities

· Reliably commute to work in a timely manner

· Supervise children diligently ensuring safety and learning is achieved daily

· Foster an environment which encourages development and growth for all children

· Report to Assistant Director and Director with effective communication

Skills Preferred:

· Well-versed with children’s learning curriculum

· Creative mind to create learning opportunities with resources provided

Additional Requirements:

· Complete/Pass criminal history check and set up FBI fingerprints

· Maintain CPR and First Aid Certifications

· Maintain 30 clock hours of annual training

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
