Hancock Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an Assistant Administrator / Assistant Executive Director to join our leadership team!
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed Nursing Home Administrator or recent AIT graduate looking to gain hands-on operational experience and take the next step toward leading their own skilled nursing facility.
You will work directly alongside an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and be actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the facility. This is a hands-on leadership role, with exposure to operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, quality improvement, financial performance, admissions, census development, and resident and family relations.
ResponsibilitiesWork directly with the Administrator in the day-to-day operation of the facility
Participate in leadership meetings, operational reviews, and facility rounds
Support regulatory compliance and ongoing survey readiness
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives
Work with Nursing and department leaders to support strong clinical and operational outcomes
Assist with recruitment, retention, staffing, employee relations, and leadership development
Support resident and family relations and assist with resolving concerns
Participate in admissions, census development, marketing, and community relations
Review key operational and financial metrics and assist with action plans
Participate in special projects and organizational initiatives
Assume additional administrative responsibilities as delegated by the Administrator
Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrator license strongly preferred
Recent graduates of an approved Massachusetts Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program who are eligible for licensure are encouraged to apply
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field preferred
Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Desire to build a long-term career in skilled nursing leadership
This position is ideal for an emerging healthcare leader who wants real operational experience and mentorship before taking responsibility for their own facility.
You'll work closely with an experienced Administrator and leadership team while developing the regulatory, financial, operational, and people-management skills needed to successfully lead a skilled nursing facility.
