Hancock Daniel, a nationally recognized health law firm, is hiring a civil litigation Associate Attorney with experience as a clerk and/or complex defense work or medical malpractice to join our Medical Malpractice Defense Team in Fairfax, Virginia.
What You’ll Do
You'll be trusted with meaningful, hands-on litigation work from the start, including:
- Case evaluation and strategy development
- Client interaction and collaboration with experienced partners
- Engagement with medical experts
- Pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep
- Courtroom exposure and growth as a litigator

Who We’re Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in Virginia, or ability to waive in
- 1-4 years of litigation experience (preferably in medical malpractice or civil defense)
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology—or willingness to learn
- A commitment to exceptional client service and continuous learning
