What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker - FT Evenings position at Hancock County Health System?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides maintenance services to all HCHS facilities regardless of location. Adhere to industry quality and safety standards. Participates in department call schedule on a rotating basis.
HOURS:
Full-time Evening position, 80 hours per pay period, will include call rotation. Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm, must be willing to be flexible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Advanced technical training related to building and equipment maintenance preferred. Must possess and maintain an active Iowa Driver's License and must live within 20 minutes of hospital for call purposes. Must be or willing to become a State of Iowa licensed boiler operator.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, squat, kneel crawl, bend, climb, balance, and walk. Must be able to work in and out of doors in all kinds of climate conditions. Must be able to take and pass the HCHS pre-employment/post offering drug testing.
