Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring efficient order processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen coordination when necessary to support smooth operations
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a memorable experience
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred
- Fine dining or nightclub serving experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle diverse customer needs
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask during busy periods
- Proven ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining excellent guest relations
- Experience in host/hostess roles or food industry positions that emphasize customer service and guest engagement is advantageous
