Job Summary:
The Pool Server ensures that guests have an enjoyable and relaxing experience by providing exceptional food and beverage service in the pool area. This role involves accurately taking orders, delivering drinks and food promptly, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operations of the poolside service. The Pool Server must maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the club's high standards of hospitality.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet pool guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide guests with menus, answer inquiries about menu items, and suggest poolside specials or promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring any special requests or allergies are communicated to the kitchen or bar.
- Deliver orders promptly, following proper food and beverage handling standards.
- Regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the poolside area, including tables, chairs, and surrounding spaces.
- Replenish supplies such as napkins, straws, and condiments at the service station.
- Assist with poolside setup and breakdown, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts or events.
- Operate the POS system to record orders, process payments, and reconcile daily transactions.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service.
- Support special poolside events or private functions as needed.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience:

- 1 years wait staff experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and during peak pool hours.
- Ability to handle busy outdoor environments with grace and efficiency.
- Interest in shift work
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees and guests in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for several hours at a time.
- Capability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and equipment weighing up to 25-50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to carry and balance heavy trays with food or beverages.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to climb stairs or maneuver in tight spaces when necessary.
- Requires fine motor skills to handle table settings, glassware, and serving utensils.
- Ability to push, pull, or move carts and other banquet equipment.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments with varying temperatures and weather conditions.
