Duties
- Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with meticulous attention to detail and presentation
- Develop and refine menu offerings to ensure freshness, flavor balance, and visual appeal
- Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, rolling sushi, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy hours
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient freshness and communicating supply needs
- Uphold cleanliness standards in the kitchen, including sanitizing workstations and storing ingredients properly
Skills
