What are the responsibilities and job description for the POS Manager position at Hana Cloud Solutions?
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to the POS team.
- Review technical risks and forecast future needs
- Perform proactive risk prevention and oversee individual problem-solving within the team Strategic Payment Management
- Oversee processes to transfer funds between customers, merchants, and financial institutions.
- Serve as the final escalation point for payment processing or security issues.
- Monitor and resolve critical discrepancies in transactions at an enterprise level. System Innovation & Roadmap
- Approve and lead complex Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to improve/expand payment systems.
- Drive the development and automation of new innovative features. Maintenance & Reliability
- Ensure system stability and performance through routine maintenance oversight
- Act as the authority for Tier 3 technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Stakeholder Communication
- Collaborate with functional leaders and managers across the company to maximize technology effectiveness
- Communicate persuasively with store personnel and executives to resolve high-level technical challenge Compliance & Vendor Strategy
- Establish day-to-day operation standards to meet legal and PCI compliance requirements
- Execute strong vendor management, including contract renewals and licensing
Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree, Information Technology/Computer Science
- 10 years as a POS Engineer/Manager
- Expert understanding of payment system flow and structure
- Linux-based system operation and basic network knowledge.
- PCI Compliance and data analysis
- Strategic leadership and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and advanced problem solving
- Customer service orientation and attention to detail Experience
- Mastery of Toshiba POS hardware installation and operation
- Proven track record with merchant processors and payment gateways
- Experience in POS software development is a strong plus
