Dermatology Specialists is a long-established leading Dermatology healthcare group dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Dermatology Specialists currently has 9 locations servicing the Metro Detroit area. However, we are excited to announce that we recently opened a new clinic in Grand Rapids, MI.
With this fast-growing Dermatology/Mohs clinic, we are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our Grand Rapids practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical dermatology, with a strong commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, and teamwork. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment providing comprehensive dermatologic services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat a variety of dermatologic conditions
- Perform procedures such as biopsies, sutures, and excisions
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Educate patients on skin care, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Collaborate with supervising Physician and clinical staff
- Other duties may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with active Michigan state license.
- Dermatology experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong clinical and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work both on a team and independently
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in using electronic health record system and other office software
